We’ve highlighted some great parts of our city’s pizza scene at least twicebefore — and now, it’s time for part three.
This time, though, we’re broadening our scope to include the whole region. Fresh out the oven for you is a look at the Philadelphia suburbs’ best pizza places, according to Hey Philly readers ⬇️
📍 Conshohocken (Montgomery County)
You “can’t go wrong” with this spot, said Hey Philly reader Andrew J. In addition to standard pies and a rather extensive non-pizza menu, you can order Sicilian, extra thin, gluten-friendly, and cauliflower crust pizzas.
📍 Upper Darby (Delaware County)
Hey Philly reader Zakia W. has loved this place since childhood. “Don’t take my word for it,” Zakia said. “Go check it out for yourself.” If you do go, be prepared: According to Google reviews, this was a cash-only business as of a few months ago.
📍 Hainesport (Burlington County, NJ)
Ever heard of Trenton tomato pie? You can find the circular, thin-crusted dish at this South Jersey shop, alongside fare like cheesesteaks and chicken cutlet sandwiches. Lillo’s gets a stamp of approval from Hey Philly reader Sharon V.
📍 West Chester (Chester County)
This relatively young shop, known for its crispy pies and being walk-in and cash-only, comes recommended by Hey Philly reader Michelle Q.

📍 Bridgeport (Montgomery County)
The go-to pie at this locally-loved shop known for its sugary sauce is the “red top” pizza, according to Hey Philly reader Christy B: “Perfect amount of mozzarella under a sweet red sauce on a thin crispy crust!”
📍 Holland (Bucks County)
Hey Philly reader Christopher S. had a lot of good things to say about the Brooklyn-style pizza at this family-run business. “I tried one and it was the most unique delicious pizza I have ever had,” Christopher wrote. “Spread the word.”
