Red October is officially here and we’re ready to cheer on the Phillies all month long. Whether you’re trying to see the game live or just with a small group of friends, here’s how you can jump on the bandwagon as the Phils’ first playoff game approaches this weekend.

🎉 Attend a Watch Party

South Street is the place to be on Saturday, as Paddywhack’s Pub will be the site of a Red October block party. The game will be featured on a 30-foot TV truck. There’ll be an outdoor bar and seating, Phillies-themed drinks, and activities for the kids. The party begins at 2 p.m.

Local sports radio station 97.5 Fanatic will be on the scene to hype the crowd up. The station also has a pre-game live broadcast at Top Tomato on Oct. 5 and a watch party at Cavanaugh’s Rittenhouse on Oct. 6.

If you’d like to stick closer to the stadium, Stateside Live! (formerly Xfinity Live!) is booking reservations to watch the game on its 50-foot LED screen. Seating begins 30 minutes prior to the first pitch.

You can also combine two sports for double the fun. Libertee Grounds, the mini-golf bar and restaurant, will be streaming the game on all the screens inside and out in the beer garden. You can also grab specials on hot dogs and drinks.

🧢 Stock Up on Merch

You can’t just say you’re a fan; you need to look the part! Sure you can take the easy route and get official merch from the team’s sports store, but if you want to support local brands, grab gear from Shibe Vintage Sports, Mitchell & Ness, or Philly’s thrift stores.

🎟️ Grab a Ticket to a Home Game

If you’re a season ticket holder, you’ll have an easier time getting tickets than the rest of us. Fans needed to register for the opportunity to buy a ticket, but you can only purchase a postseason ticket if you are selected from the lottery drawing, as solely registering does not guarantee a ticket.

Be aware that some fans have recently had their tickets stolen from their MLB Ballpark account. Make sure that your account information is up-to-date and change your password to something strong.

If you weren’t selected in the drawing, you can try your hand at scoring resale tickets on SeatGeek. That’s the official partner of the Phillies for ticket resales, so be mindful of alternative sites.

And if you can’t make it inside, there’s always tailgating in the lots.

Where are you watching the game?
