Fetterman Uses GOP Donor Lists

Sen. John Fetterman, a Democrat, has sent fundraising emails via Republican donor email lists using GOP messaging, sparking rumors of a possible party switch. Once seen as a progressive Democrat, he’s now facing backlash from former staffers for aligning with conservatives “to prop up his dismal fundraising numbers.” [The Intercept]

The Portal Might Leave Philly?

Our 12-foot-tall art installation with all-hours live video feeds connected to six other cities must leave the City Hall courtyard by Oct. 31. Without local funding, it will likely move out of Pennsylvania, though a new location is yet to be confirmed. The Portal has been in Philly since 2024 and is the only one of its kind in North America. [Axios]

Red-Light Cameras Have Cut Violations

Philly’s automated red-light camera program has effectively reduced violations at those intersections by 17.4%, according to the PPA. But the enforcement program may end in July 2027 unless state lawmakers renew the law that authorizes the cameras. Roommate Shares Disturbing Experiences in Horsch’s Home

A Kensington woman who spent time in Raymond 'R.C.' Horsch’s Olney home said she visited the “house of horrors” several times with her roommate, Blair Tonzelli, who has since disappeared. She described the house as smelling of ammonia and alleged that Horsch and his son, Eugene, “actively used these streets as a hunting ground.” [WPVI]
