Football season returns Sunday with our two-time Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, facing off against the team from Washington (whatever their name is these days). Meanwhile the Phillies are chasing another Red October while the Philadelphia Union is heating up as we head into the back end of the soccer season. And training camps for the new Sixers and Flyers seasons are just around the corner. If you can’t score tickets to games for all of those teams this season, munch on some wings and throw back some drinks at these local bars and restaurants. | | Founding Fathers | 1612 South St. | This gastropub offers a chill, neighborhood vibe right on South Street.
