If you’re looking to hunker down at a local bar to watch Sunday’s big game, you might want to do some planning ahead. With the Eagles playing in Super Bowl LIX this year for their revenge game against the Chiefs, demand to watch with other fans is high – as are the prices for some venues. Here are places to watch the Super Bowl in Philly.

Note: Some of these events may sell out after publication time.

Feed Your Nerves

Bake’n Bacon in South Philly has your appetite covered with an unlimited buffet, one complimentary beer, and free shots each time the Eagles score a touchdown (as if we needed another reason to cheer). Menu highlights include chipotle citrus BBQ wings, bacon cheese fries, and jalapeño dip with chips. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are $55.

If you couldn’t make it down to New Orleans for game day, you can still get a taste of the NOLA experience. Craftsman Row Saloon in Center City is decked out for the complete Mardi Gras experience. From now until Fat Tuesday, you can throw on your colorful beads and party. For Super Bowl Sunday, reservations are highly recommended but limited walk-ins will be available.

Deke’s Bar-B-Que in Germantown is opening its doors for $10 per person. You can call ahead to save a spot, but bar walk-ins are welcome until it’s full. If you’re stopping by, we highly recommend trying their ribs.

If you want to stay close to the fun on Broad Street, Franky Bradley’s in the Gayborhood is the place to be. General admission tickets are already on sale for $50, with multiple bar areas to watch the game and mingle. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Kensington Pub is offering seating both indoors and in its heated beer garden from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. A $65 ticket gets you access to an all-you-can-eat buffet and a free drink. You’ll also have the chance to score a cash prize if you participate in the 50/50 drawing.

Fishtown’s Starboard Side Tavern is running meatball specials starting at game time, with BBQ pork sandwiches and chili also on the menu. Stellas and Surfsides are $1 off.

Turn off your TV for the night and watch the game from a 300-inch projector screen. Fringe Bar is collaborating with One Group and 6IX 8IGHT for the ultimate watch party in a 250-seat theater. Multiple screens will be on so you can watch the game from every angle while a DJ sets the mood (don’t worry, you’ll still hear the game). Tickets are $10 to $30 and limited tickets will be available at the door.

Keeping Festivities Dry

Bars are popular for big sporting events, but may not be the ideal venue if you’re looking to stay sober. Bar Palmina, which specializes in zero-proof cocktails, is hosting a party to watch the Birds play against “The Other Dudes,” as it cheekily notes in its invite. The party kicks off at 6 p.m. and attendees are welcome to bring their own food. Bar Palmina does not accept reservations so be sure to swing by early.

For the Kiddos

The young ones want to cheer on our Eagles too! If you’re looking for kid-friendly events the day of the game, Little Munchkins Playroom in Port Richmond is hosting its own Super Bowl Party from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is $15 for the first child with an adult and $5 for each additional child.

If You’re Watching From Home

If you and your buddies want to enjoy the game from home instead, some Philly businesses are here to help with the menu.

Bake Bake Philly and Em Wilson are collaborating on a game day tray with pretzels, cinnamon snails, and AJ Brownie bites. Pick up is available in West Philly or the Kensington/Fishtown area.

El Merkury’s selling special orders of green pupusas revueltas and mini green “E” churros from now until Super Bowl Sunday. Walk-ins and smaller orders can be made on Toast while larger orders can be handled directly on their site.
