With the stress of election week and the frustrations of Philly sports team losses, it seems like most Philadelphians could use an escape from reality.

Why not immerse yourself in an interactive escape room with some friends?

Philly has a few pretty good escape rooms, but the best has to be MindEscape on S. 4th Street. MindEscape has three different rooms to choose from, some more challenging than others.

The “Jack The Ripper” room takes participants to Vicortian Era London in 1888. Jack has run rampant and the streets run with blood. Visitors must become detectives and finally close the case and get this murderer off the streets. Not for the faint of heart!

My favorite is the “Alice In Wonderland” room where participants follow the white rabbit and are tasked with solving mystery after mystery in order to make it to the Annual Royal Tea Party, hosted by the Queen of Hearts herself. Believe me, it’s not as easy as it sounds to get to this party!

Stimulate your mind and strengthen those teamwork skills while laughing at yourself along the way. How quickly can you crack the codes?
